Yoga Classes will start in the Stoney Point Building

Susan's YOGA sessions will resume when as we become active in Stoney Point School? Susan is tentatively scheduling the first Yoga sessions to begin on Tuesday, November 5 (Voting Day) Return here for the latest information.

The focus of the sessions will be for us old folks to maintain our strength, flexibility, and balance. While Susan can offer her Stoney Point building classes to the public, without regard to age, senior center members will be charged no fee. Depending upon the abilities of the attendee, Susan will offer serval versions of the same poses depending on the abilities of the student. Working with either seated or standing, making participation easy for all who want YOGA's benefits.

The ambiance in the Fellowship Hall was certainly not geared to YOGA practices, with the domino players slamming their tiles onto echoing plastic tables and others visiting nearby. However, what was lost of the meditative and spiritual quietness expected of these sessions could be regained when we took what we have learned back to our homes and add YOGA to our daily routine.

When Susan's Yoga begins again, the Yoga room will be available anytime the building is open for use.
